On this site you will find all the information about the Savannah Cat. We do our cattery as a hobby, but we can say, that we have a leading and reputable cattery in Europe.
Our Savannah cat family consists of our own males and females, who can move freely in the inner arena or outside or in the house.
If everything is fine, we may occasionally enjoy a beautiful litter of kittens, who grow up with great care and love, before they go to their new owner.
The Savannah is extremely popular these days because of its “wild” and exotic appearance. The Cheetah tears and long athletic body with long legs help with that quite a bit. However, they are not wild, this is a big misunderstanding, they are sweet and focused on people. They should certainly not be compared with a Cheetah or Panther with their character, which unfortunately has happened in the media.
A Savannah can become your soulmate. It is a pity that there are organizations that have a prejudice and label this cat as dangerous. Unfortunately, many people are influenced by the media coverage to the detriment of the Savannah. From our experience, all Savannahs from the 3rd generation are sweet, affectionate and completely your buddy. It is incomprehensible to us why these organizations want to ban the Savannah. Abuses and lies are spread. Scientific research into behavior and character has never been done. Are you looking for a cat that really has to become your buddy? We absolutely recommend a Savannah cat.
The Savannah should not have any ailments or health problems because it is not a bred breed. Hereditary diseases are not an issue with this breed, unless it is crossed with other cat breeds. The Savannah is therefore a healthy cat breed when bred correctly.
You can teach your Savannah a lot, for example to walk on a leash, to fetch or to run in a cat wheel. Typical character traits are: playing in the water, wagging the tail with pleasure (when greeting), collecting toys and giving affection taps against the legs.
We have made a careful selection of suitable breeding cats in the past (and present). Almost all of our cats and males descend from the world-famous and founder of the breed, the A1 Savannahs Cattery from America.
